
AME Capital
was founded by, and is 100% owned by Alex Moss
He gained an MA in the Economics of Finance and Investment from Exeter
University in 1981, and has spent 25 years in stockbroking and
investment banking, specializing in the property sector.
After
spells with Panmure Gordon and Hoare Govett he joined BZW (which later
became part of CSFB) in 1988, where he was one of the Extel rated
property team before moving into the Equity Capital Markets Department.
He
was responsible for fund raising and corporate advisory services
to a number of leading quoted property companies including Burford,
Capital
& Regional, Chelsfield, Grantchester, Hammerson, and Rugby Estates,
and later became Head of the Property Sector in the Investment Banking
division.
Alex
moved to Apax Partners & Co. Capital in 1998, where clients included
GE Capital Real Estate, before forming AME Capital in May 2002.
AME
Capital has two principal areas of activity; Corporate advisory and
Research.
In March 2006 AME Capital was the first company to introduce :

A comprehensive series of Global REIT indices covering all REIT jurisdictions.

A series of securitised sector indices , which monitor the performance of listed companies with significant exposure to a particular asset class, such as West End offices, Paris offices, and Tokyo offices.
